Learning Strategy
Students should initiate their own learning. Learning science involves making inquiries, thus making them feel they are in control of and are fully involved in their own learning.
Students should take part in making decisions and solving problems.
Students should learn to transfer skills and learning from one context to other contexts in science.
Students should display their understanding and competence in a number of different ways. Students are expected to select the most appropriate means of reporting an experiment or project to the audience, to present their data, to communicate and to explain their ideas and understanding so that others can appreciate them.
Students should read books on science or science fictions; watch science television programs; visit Science Museum, Space Museum and Nature Education Centres etc.; observe natural phenomenon, in order to develop their own scientific mind.
